ENGINE
N.A.C.C. horsepower rating, 25.6. Maximum horsepower, 46. "L" head. Four cylinders cast in block. Bore and stroke, 4" x 5". Removable cylinder head. Valves easily accessible and entirely enclosed, operating in bath of oil vapor.
ENGINE LUBRICATION
Force feed, gear pump. Bayonet type oil gauge which shows not only quantity by quality of oil in crankcase.
COOLING SYSTEM
Positive water circulation by pump. Extra large radiator. Hand operated fan belt adjustment with very wide belt.
GASOLINE SUPPLY
Round tank on dash; capacity, 10-1/2 gallons; gravity feed.
CARBURETOR
Johnson float feed automatic type.
CLUTCH
Duplex type with 10" discs. Clutch is removable without disturbing motor or transmission, and is unusually accessible.
TRANSMISSION
Sliding selective type, three speeds forward and one reverse.
DRIVE
Shaft drive with double universal joints and spring cushioned torque arm.
FRONT AXLE
Drop-forged I-beam with integral yokes. Gilliam tapered roller bearings, extra size all around.
REAR AXLE
Full floating type of Mason design, special heavy duty type. Spiral bevel gears. Gilliam heavy duty bearings extra size.
STEERING GEAR
Irreversible, with 18" wheel; easy to operate.
BRAKES
2-3/4" x 14" service brake, external contracting, operated by foot; 2-3/4" x 14" internal expanding emergency brake operated by hand lever.
SPRINGS
Semi-elliptic. The front springs in the 130" wheelbase chassis are 38" x 2"; rear, 40" x 2-1/2". In 150" wheelbase chassis; front, 38" x 2"; rear, 40" x 2-1/2".

Heavy duty truck, artillery type; heavy duty demountable rims.
