- ENGINE
- Continental engine. Six-cylinder, 70 horsepower at 2,500 r.p.m., bore 3-3/8", stroke 5"; L-head type.
- CYLINDERS
- Cast en-bloc with upper half of crankcase; head detachable.
- CRANKSHAFT
- Seven-bearing; All 2: diameter. Length: front, 2-3/16"; center, 1-7/8"; rear, 3-5/32"; four intermediate, each 1-1/2". All bearings are accessible by removing oil pan without disturbing any other parts..
- ENGINE LUBRICATION
- Force feed to all main connecting rod and camshaft bearings. Pressure automatically controlled through relief valve. Pump, bronze gear type and oil filler very accessible on right side of motor behind chain case. Pressure guage on dash.
- COOLING SYSTEM
- Centrifugal water pump very accible on right side of engine and four-blade V-belt driven fan. Thermostatic temperature control between 160 ºF and 170 ºF passing from engine to radiator.
- TIMING GEAR DRIVE
- Morse silent chain; simple adjustment.
- CARBURETOR
- Stromberg 1-1/4" carburetor, on left side of engine. Combination intake and exhaust manifold with hot spot.
- CLUTCH
- Single dry plate enclosed in flywheel with outside adjusting nuts easily accessible. 12 inchplate of Durant design.
- TRANSMISSION
- Warner standard selective type; three speeds forward and one reverse. Ground transmission gears. Approved transmission lock. Transmission locaed amidship, and the drive from it to the rear axle is through a shaft fitted with two Spicer universals.
- ELECTRIC SYSTEM
- De-Jon starting motor, generator, battery cut-out, coil, distributor, U.S.L. battery.
- REAR AXLE
- Semi-floating. Spiral bevel pinion and ring gear; ratio, 4.77 to 1. Tapered roller hub bearings.
- BRAKES
- Four wheels. Service Brakes operated by footpedal on drums of unequal size and area on all four wheels. Hydraulic equalizers insure proper distribution by pressure to front andrear brakes. Easily adjustable. Very accessible. Emergency brake lever on left side operating internal expanding type on rear wheel brake drums only. (two-wheel brakes can be secured if desired.) Asbestos brake lining is used for the four-wheel brakes.
- SPRINGS
- Semi-ellitic. Front, 36" by 2"; rear, 55" by 2-1/4". Equipped with rebound snubbers.
- TIRES
- Five straight side, non-skid full balloon, 32 x 6.20, (high pressure 32" x 4-1/2" tires can be had if desired).
- CHASSIS LUBRICATION
- Alemite system.
- GASOLINE SUPPLY
- Stewart vacuum system from 20 gallon supply tank located in rear.

- Speedometer, Elgin clock, gasoline gauge, oil gauge, ammeter, lighting and ignition switch, choke, two lights, cowl ventilator regulator.
- STANDARD EQUIPMENT
- Drum-type headlights and cowl lights, extra large legal lenses, tail and stop light; demountable rims with carrier, extra rim, five ballon tires, extra tube, tire cover (high pressure tires can be secured with two-wheel brake-equipped cars). disc wheels standard on all models; horn, complete tools, robe rail and foot rest; Perfection floor heater in closed models. Boyce motometer with lock, special radiator cap and wings, front bumper, automatic windshield cleaner, rear vision mirror are included. Touring models have permananet top and side curtains that open with the doors.
